Braai Day Hijacks Our Heritage

Ok so nevermind the fact that every year for "BRAAI DAY" we (Tamils and some Hindi's- lol) fast from meat so we cannot enjoy the lekker braais with the rest of the nation... I understand its our choice to fast and so we must take it as it is and sacrifice being part of a national day. Yes...

I titled this particularly, because as an adult I love Sponge Bob, he is whacky, emotionally unstable and a little bit crazy, which makes for great entertainment. The fact that he is an animated character has led a lot of parents to allow their children of all ages to watch his adventures. But I am not one of those parents. Whats the best age for a child to go to School? Would a compulsory age help parents?

In my personal opinion: No it wouldn't be easier with a compulsory age.

Imposing a compulsory age to start school, I think, will cause more harm. Sending a child to creche in their formative years has become a norm in current society, which I think has spurred this urgency of "going to big school" and in turn it has made some parents 'education crazy'.
